Notice on the Launch of Website Protection (CNAME Resolution) and CAA Resolution

Release Time:2024-01-16  Views:2035

Dear valued customers,

To enhance the flexibility and selectivity of website protection modes and the diversity of domain resolution types, we have added two new features: Website Protection (CNAME Resolution) and CAA resolution types. These new features are designed to provide more convenience, helping you better protect your website and domain resolution settings.

1.Website Protection (CNAME Resolution)

Enabling website protection can safeguard any online website, preventing threats and restricting misuse by bots and crawler programs, saving your bandwidth and server resources.

In addition to the existing website protection, we have added Website Protection (CNAME Resolution): CNAME resolution access mode requires setting the corresponding origin address in domain resolution by adding the CNAME resolution specified by our site. There is no need to make settings on our site for domain resolution management.

2.Default Data Transfer Setting for Website Protection

Due to some website protection users severely exceeding monthly traffic usage, our site has been complained about multiple times by Cloudflare, and under pressure, we have reluctantly set basic traffic limits for different versions of website protection. Details are as follows:

Website Protection (Trial Version): Data Transfer Limit 100GB/7 days

Website Protection (Professional Version): Data Transfer Limit 500GB/month

Website Protection (Advanced Version): Data Transfer Limit 1TB/month

Website Protection (CNAME Resolution): Data Transfer Limit 1TB/month

3.CAA Resolution Type

With the continuous development of the Internet, network security is becoming increasingly important. CAA resolution authorizes designated CA institutions to issue SSL certificates for domains, preventing SSL certificate errors.

We believe that these new features will greatly enhance website security and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing Internet environment. If you have any questions or need assistance, our support team will be ready to help at any time.
